Are you working to a plan?
Have you set out in writing what it is that you are going to achieve in a marketing or business plan. The plan and the planning process sets out how you will achieve your vision. It also sets out how
you will communicate your reputation to the outside world.
You specify which service or product you will offer. You then promote that service or product to a highly targeted and selective audience in a way that makes you stand out from your competitors.
As a result, your clients and prospective clients will recognise you and will actively seek out your expertise.
If you don't have a plan, and therefore cannot work systematically, then you are more likely to experience feast then famine rather than smooth and sustainable growth.
